Shaanxi Spicy Oil Noodle Recipe

Ingredients for Shaanxi Spicy Oil Noodles:
– A small handful of noodles


– 2 spring onions


– Oil, as needed


– 1 teaspoon of salt


– 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce


– A pinch of bean sprouts


– Three to five leaves of green vegetables


– Half a head of garlic


– Chili powder, as needed


– Chicken essence, as needed


– A splash of vinegar



Method for making Shaanxi Spicy Oil Noodles:


Step 1: Finely chop the spring onions and garlic.


Step 2: Blanch the green vegetables and bean sprouts, then lay them at the bottom of a bowl.


Step 3: Boil the noodles and transfer them into the bowl. Add the chopped spring onions and garlic, chili powder, light soy sauce, salt, chicken essence, and vinegar.


Step 4: Heat the oil until it’s slightly smoking and pour it slowly and evenly over the chili powder. Mix well and enjoy!
