Hubei Cuisine: How to Cook ‘Er Cai’

Ingredients for ‘Er Cai’: 1.5 jin of ‘Er Cai’, 2 small red chili peppers, 3 tablespoons of minced garlic, salt to taste, white pepper to taste, sesame oil to taste, and MSG.
Method:


Step 1: Fresh ‘Er Cai’


Step 2: Clean and slice


Step 3: Pour water into a pot, add a spoonful of salt, bring to a boil, and blanch the ‘Er Cai’ for 1 minute to remove rawness


Step 4: Remove and chill in cold water


Step 5: Heat oil in a pan, then add minced garlic and chili peppers to sauté until fragrant
