Yam and Corn Pork Rib Soup Recipe

Ingredients for Yam and Corn Pork Rib Soup: 1 pork rib, 1 corn cob, salt to taste, 1 piece of ginger, water to cover, cooking wine to taste, 1 yam, 1 carrot, 1 small handful of red dates, goji berries to taste.
Method: Step 1: Prepare all ingredients; I had the butcher cut the pork rib in advance. Step 2: Peel the yam after soaking it in clear water. Step 3: Cut the corn and carrot into pieces. Step 4: Cut the yam into pieces and soak them in water with white vinegar to prevent oxidation and discoloration. Step 5: Boil the pork rib in cold water with cooking wine to remove scum. Step 6: Rinse the boiled pork rib with warm water.

Step 7: Place the pork rib and ginger in a stew pot with warm water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes over low heat. Step 8: Add corn, carrot, and yam, and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes. Step 9: Add red dates and cook for 15 minutes. Step 10: Finally, add goji berries and salt, and cook for 5 minutes before turning off the heat. Step 11: The taste is incredibly fresh.

Cooking Tips: When handling yam, wear gloves to avoid itchiness from the sap. Every dish has its own trick, and I have a little tip for each one. You can search for ‘Halal Cuisine’ to view my recipes directly!
